Active user management
As a PRTG user I would need an improved way to view and manage logged-in PRTG users. Although there is a script to list logged-in users, this functionality could be directly integrated into the PRTG interface for a smoother user experience. This functionality helps to have a real-time overview of all logged in users, analysis user logins for capacity utilization planning, and identify inactive users.

PRTG support for non-Microsoft LDAP directories
As an IT Infrastructure Manager working in a non-Microsoft environment (e.g., Linux-based or mixed infrastructure), I want PRTG to natively support generic LDAP directories for user authentication and management so that I can centralize user access control without having to manually maintain separate PRTG user accounts.
For now, PRTG offers native integration only with Active Directory. As a result, in a non-AD environment, integration with the existing system remains limited and can generate administrative overhead.3 votes -
