Persist Acknowledged Sensor Status After Server Restart
As a Systems Engineer,
I want acknowledged sensor alarms to remain in the "Down (Acknowledged)" status after a PRTG server restart,
so that I don't receive duplicate notifications for issues I've already acknowledged and can maintain consistent alarm management across server maintenance windows.

Hello
As this request is important to our clients and has already received 19 votes, could we know the scheduled date for its release into production? -

Reminder of the problem:
After a PRTG server restart, all acknowledged alerts appear as new alerts and are no longer acknowledged.
Once a sensor is acknowledged and either:
- the PRTG server is restarted, or
- the PRTG service is stopped and then restarted,
this sensor is no longer acknowledged. This happens at least once a month and forces the customer to search through support tickets each time to see if the alarm had already been acknowledged before the restart. A product update would be ideal.Purpose of the product enhancement request:
preserve the acknowledgment status after a restart;
preserve the comment, author, and any acknowledgment due date;
do not resend a notification if the incident is identical to one already acknowledged;
restore the state after a restart without manual action;If some customers wish to maintain the current functionality, you should be able to create an option to allow this in your update.

We have a CRITICAL feature request, similar to the one we have received from several of our clients.
To clarify the request:
I want the "Down (Acknowledged)" state of a sensor to be persisted and restored after a restart of the PRTG Core Server and/or the Probe service,
so that alarms that have already been acknowledged do not reappear as new and trigger notifications until the error condition has actually changed.Expected criteria:
Retain the acknowledgment status after a restart;
Retain the comment, the author, and any acknowledgment due date;
Do not resend a notification if the incident is identical to one that has already been acknowledged;
Restore the state after a restart without manual action;If some clients wish to maintain the current functionality, you should be able to add a checkbox in your update.
