ACME Certificate Auto-Renewal for PRTG Web Server
As an IT Infrastructure Manager, I want PRTG to automatically renew its web server SSL certificates using ACME protocols so that I can ensure continuous secure access to the monitoring system without manual intervention or risk of service disruption from expired certificates.
With the upcoming SSL certificate lifecycle changes requiring certificates with 47-day lifespans by March 2029, manual certificate renewal for the PRTG webserver will become impractical and operationally burdensome. The user needs an automated solution using ACME (Automatic Certificate Management Environment) to handle certificate renewals without manual intervention, ensuring continuous secure access to the PRTG web interface.

Add and Edit Sensor Channels
As an IT Administrator I want to be able to add or delete channels of a sensor versus recreating the entire sensor so that I can avoid redoing work when there is a device change. For example if I were to add an SPF to a switch or router and would need to add a channel or remove a channel.

Faster check for updates
As a PRTG administrator, I want the ability to check for available updates without immediately triggering a full installer download, so that I can quickly verify if a new version exists and better control when updates are downloaded and installed.
Currently, if an administrator clicks “Check for Latest Update and Download” in the PRTG UI, the system immediately downloads the full installer — even if the installed version is already up to date.

Preserve Custom Icon Template During PRTG Updates
As a PRTG administrator,
I want my customized iconset template.htm file to be preserved during PRTG updates,
So that I don't have to manually restore my customizations after every update.I have customized the template.htm (“C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\webroot\mapicons\iconset8\template.htm”) for our icons. Unfortunately, this is overwritten with every PRTG update.

Access to Historical Syslog Data When Sensor Dependencies Cause Paused Status

Ability to Disable “Pause Indefinitely” for All Users/Administrators
As an IT Manager, I want the ability to disable or restrict the "Pause Indefinitely" option for specific user groups or across the entire PRTG system
Currently, users and administrators have the option to “Pause indefinitely” for sensors, devices, or groups. In our environment, this poses a risk, as paused objects can easily be forgotten and monitoring gaps may occur.
I have not been able to find any built-in feature in PRTG that would allow us to disable or restrict the “Pause indefinitely” option globally or on a per-role basis.Requested Feature:

Self-service portal for PRTG Enterprise Monitor Offline Sublicenses
Using PRTG Enterprise Monitor in offline environments requires the creation of sublicenses which are tied to a certain sensor count. Currently these have to be requested from customer service (https://www.paessler.com/support/how-to/prtg-enterprise-monitor-offline).
It would be easier and faster if there was a self-service portal which allowed customers to create, edit and delete sublicenses on their own.

History Tab for Non-Root Admins
Today, PRTG is limiting the History Tab to only Root users. Anyone that has full rights to a Remote Probe should be allowed access to the History Tab for those devices/sensors they oversee.
