Open-Ticket Indicator on Sensor Views
As a Systems Engineer working in a team where multiple colleagues watch the same PRTG installation,
I want sensors that have an open PRTG ticket related to them to display a visible ticket indicator directly in the sensor view (and ideally in sensor lists/alarm lists), with a link to the open ticket(s),
so that I can immediately see that a colleague is already handling a Warning or Down state — without acknowledging (not possible for Warnings), pausing the sensor, or duplicating troubleshooting effort.1 voteHi there,

Modernize the Sensor Catalog: Add Missing Protocols/Device Types and Prioritize v2 Sensors
As an IT Infrastructure Manager, I want the "Add Sensor" catalog to reflect all protocols and target system types that PRTG supports (including REST API, OPC UA, Modbus, and IoT/OT protocols), so that I can quickly discover the right sensor for any device in my environment - whether it's a traditional IT asset, an IoT device, or an OT system.
Furthermore, I want the sensor catalog to show the latest version (v2) of a sensor type first when I search or browse, so that I naturally adopt the most current and best-supported sensor without having to scroll past outdated alternatives.

Search Based on Tags
As a Systems Engineer,
I want to search for devices and objects by tags directly in the PRTG WebUI,

User Specific Language
We would like to explicitly support this request and add an important real-world use case:
In our environment, multiple international locations use the same PRTG server, but in different countries. For our international teams, English is required, while users at our German locations need to continue using German.
At the moment, the UI language is tied to the system or global settings. A per-user language setting (e.g. configurable per PRTG user or user group) would be a much more practical and scalable solution.

SNMP Windows Service - Sort by name
As a Systems Engineer using PRTG to configure SNMP Windows Service sensors, I want to be able to sort the list of available Windows services alphabetically by name, so that I can quickly locate and select the correct service to monitor without having to scroll through an unsorted, length-based list.
Other sensors do not have this issue, for example the Veeam Backup Jobs sensor displays icons where you can sort by name.

Configurable Port for the PRTG New UI
As a Systems Engineer, I want to be able to configure the port used by the PRTG New UI (currently hardcoded to port 1616), so that I can align it with my organization's network security policies, firewall rules, and port management standards — just as I can already do for the classic PRTG web server.

Negative Tag Filtering for Sensor Lists
As a Systems Engineer managing daily monitoring operations, I want to filter sensor lists using negative tag filters (e.g., filter_tags=!noisy) in /sensors.htm, so that I can quickly exclude irrelevant or known-noisy sensors from my view without having to manually tag and maintain positive filter groups, making my day-to-day monitoring more efficient and reducing alert fatigue.

Enhanced Sensor Library Filtering for Paused Status Types
As an IT Infrastructure Manager, I want granular filtering options for different paused status types in the sensor library so that I can quickly identify and manage sensors paused by different reasons to optimize troubleshooting workflows and operational visibility.
Currently its only possible to filter sensor states in library for "Paused by user". It should also be possible to filter for "Paused by dependency", "Paused by schedule", "Paused by license" and "Paused until".

Enhanced Library Display: Show Parent Device Information for Sensors
As a Network Administrator monitoring multiple devices across different locations, I want libraries to display the device name and IP address alongside each sensor so that I can quickly identify which server or device is experiencing issues without needing to navigate away from the library view.

Add more device icons to PRTG
As an IT administrator, I would like to be able to identify affected devices in PRTG right away. Having the correct device icon and manufacturer would help me with this task. Eaton, Ubiquiti and other icons are missing.

As a PRTG administrator I would like to have a central rights management overview, where you can quickly see, for example, which access / management rights a group currently has in PRTG.

Improve graph visualization and zooming
As a an IT administrator analyzing time series basic functions like zooming should be allowed via mouse movements by dragging or using the scroll wheel versus using buttons so that I can see more granular data quickly and easily to troubleshoot a problem.
