Enable Custom Report File Upload for PRTG Hosted Monitor Customers
As an IT Infrastructure Manager using PRTG Hosted Monitor, I want to upload custom report files via the Customer Portal so that I can maintain essential System Availability reports that provide specific business-critical metrics not available through standard PRTG reports or API outputs.
Our use case: We used to host PRTG on-premise but migrated to the Hosted version last year. We have a custom report we had built to tell us our overall System Availability because none of the stock reports (or API) can give us the output we need. The custom report worked great.
However, Hosted PRTG doesn't offer any way to upload custom report files, which has been the only limitation/pain point of the Hosted version of PRTG. This leaves a pretty significant gap for us that, frankly, will likely cause us to switch to a different monitoring software within the next 12 months. All we need is the ability to upload custom report files via the File Upload page in the management portal.
