As an IT Administrator I would like to mute alarms during a maintenance window without pausing sensors so that I can ensure I am collecting as much data is possible without creating false positives.

What I would like to be able to do is when I know I am doing a server reboot acknowledge that alerts may show up, so I can see when a device stops pinging, but have the status of the sensor skip the down status and go to acknowledged.

When doing upgrade / updates on things that have sensors, obviously the sensors start reporting a timeout / error caused by lookup value. This I think is good to know in the update process, but it also starts creating email alerts. I would like to see a way other than pausing sensors to stop alerts so that I can still watch sensors go from a Normal status into warning, down and back up.
