SSO for PRTG Desktop App

As a Network Engineer who solely uses SSO for authentication, and prefers the Desktop UI/experience compared to the Web UI/experience, having SSO integration and ability to log in via the Desktop App without needing a local account would be extremely handy.

The org's security policy and standpoint is for NO local accounts and ONLY SSO.

    @Daniel,

    In addition to a status update, I can now see there is an option in Desktop to "Login using SSO", which takes you to the PRTG instance and allows you to complete SSO, however, it continuously says "no Desktop-type token found", which indicates to me that an API key is required for this?

    If we can bypass having to use the API Key and do a direct sign-in with SSO, it would really make the sign-in a breeze.

    @Daniel, can you provide us with a status update on this feature? We are using SSO for a while now and really want to use the desktop app again.
